LIVING AND LEARNING WE ARE FRIENDS TOGETHER

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you, not only to our website, but also to our brand new purpose built school which opened in Sept 2014.

Our church ethos is central to all we do in providing a caring and happy environment, to ensure that all pupils achieve their best and go from strength to strength.

We have a hardworking, forward thinking and dedicated staff. We look forward to working together with our parents, as this team work is essential in ensuring the best education for your child and providing them with necessary life skills for a successful future.

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, officially opened our new school on Wednesday 8th October.  The Archbishop cut the ribbon and blessed the building in front of cheering children, staff and invited guests following a tour of the school.

Dr Sentamu said: "This is just absolutely amazing, it's marvelous.  It's very, very clear as you walk around the school it is a symbol of Christianity and full of thanks giving and compassion.  It's also clear when you come in the children are delightful and really are engaged to learn.  It feels like one big family."

PARKING  AROUND SCHOOL

The parking area outside of the school gates is for use by West Craven Sports Centre and not specifically for parents/guardians when bringing children to school.

For health and safety reasons, we ask all parents/guardians to be extremely vigilant when driving near our school and advise parents to use Rainhall Road Car Park and walk your child to school in a much safer environment.
